This is a well designed appliance. The larger burner puts out a lot of heat (?20,000 BTU) and the simmer function works extremely well. The grates are well designed so one can slide a pot from burner to burner as necessary. The only issue I have with the appliance is that moving the gas knobs almost 50% is required to lower the flame. The flame does lower nicely, but there is al lot of play in the first 50% without any impact on the flame. This has not been an issue, and overall we are very satsfied with the product. It was insrtalled with a new downdraft vent and matches it perfectly. I would recommend this cooktop without reservation .

This is the first negative review I have ever written. The flames are uneven and 1 hisses. The technician to adjust the burners has been scheduled to arrive Feb25 - 8 weeks since we reported the problem. The finish on the grates has eroded since the first pan was put on them and continues to rub off. (See attached photo.) The openings on the grate are so large, 2 small sauce pans fell through and cannot be used. One minor complaint - grate is so high it takes extra time for pans to heat.

The appearance is very nice. The grate is a disaster. Small pots fall through and slightly larger pots often tip. The grate is so high it takes an inordinate amount of time for pots to heat. The grates showed soil immediately and are hard to clean. The center burner is so far back it is clumsy to use. The flames are uneven. The appliance store where I bought it made an appointment for Bosch to come and adjust them on January 25. Except for appearance, the 54-year old cooktop I replaced was much better.

Very good value for a five burner range. My only criticism is the grates are to far apart. It makes using smaller fry pans and smaller sauce pans a bit tricky. Consistently having to adjust so that the pots or pans are not lopsided.

We love our new cook top, as a long time gas stove user moving up to the cook top has been fantastic. Large cook surface and the ability to slide cooking pots and pans by sliding form one burner to another with out lifting. very easy to clean, all in all very well thought out.

Beautiful Gas Cooktop to Match our new Kitchen

Remodeled our kitchen and we are very happy with this 5 burner gas cooktop with led lights to tell you which burner is on which is not always easy to see and central super burner for those bigs pots of pasta or extra large frying pans. The cooktop automatically relights if the flame goes out which is a great safety feature most cooktops do not have. It is designed to be sealed for spills and easy cleaning unlike our old cooktop.

We upgraded two years ago and love our Bosch dishwasher so much that we decided to go with their cooktop. It was the design we wanted and for the most part functions as desired. The Simmer option is too hot but the center burning boils water super fast. The stainless steel must be the softest cheapest gauge made though. We have only cleaned it with a soft cloth for SS and it looks like we use steel wool. Even the graphics in the surface are coming off. It looks SO CHEAP and we want to sell our house in a year or 2 (just appraised for $900K and our GE looked better after 10 years!!). Very disappointed and would not purchase if I could do this again :(
