Like others have said nice tv bad remote.
This remote was designed by 2nd grades that just threw all the functions onto the device.
There are no tactile differences in the buttons. Useless in dim light.
Oh and you need finger sizes of a 2nd grader to differ the buttons.
Horrible design.
Have an older LG TV with a nice Magic remote. What happened? Fire the design department?

I bought this remote because my LG TV was not detecting and internet signal from Sparklight. After doing some research I thought the remote was the problem. Using the new remote the TV still does not detect the signal. Any ideas?

Too many buttons all roughly the same size and most buttons stopped working after less than 2 years. In the dark it is hard to find the button youre looking for especially since all the buttons are in a grid pattern. Most of the buttons also seem unnecessary for modern-day use.
I now have to buy a new one because the remote does not work meaning I cant use the expensive TV that I purchased and I cant use the app because the TV cant be connected to the internet unless you use the remote.

I bought my new remote control and was happy to find that it was identical to the original one. Ive ordered duplicate remotes for my other tvs expecting to receive an original only to get a universal remote that I could have purchased at Walmart. This remote control works perfectly Thanks LG

Standard remote works. Bought it to replace the remote that came with the tv that the OK/select button stoped working on so couldnt watch tv. I think its ridiculous that lg cant make products that last what a hassle to have the remote go out and have to buy a new one in order for tv to function. It was cheaper than a new tv at this time but next time I will not be purchasing an lg. Disappointing.

This remote feels pretty cheap and works about the same. The sensor is sensitive so you have to be right on it or it wont register. The button layout is just wrong and you can feel it especially during the setup process. No features youd expect from a smart tv but then I notice when I get home the REAL REMOTE youre SUPPOSED to use to really get what you think youre going to experience when you buy the TV isnt included and is another $50 because its the MAGIC REMOTE. Really LG? Thats how youre going to do us? Im not buying that remote or another LG television until you get what need to use the product as its advertised. Only getting 2 stars because it wasnt broke.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago it works beautifully.
I had purchased one before on Amazon only to find out it was a refurbished one that never worked right it had a ton of issues regarding pressing buttons and it working.
So this time I paid about twice as much for a Brand New One from LG and this Remote works beautiful no problems at all and the buttons work flawlessly all functions work beautiful I am so Happy I bought it

I paid for express shipping and somehow this got delivered to an auto part store over 10 miles from my house. Pretty disappointed. Otherwise the product works fine just had to wait longer than the standard shipping period to not even have it delivered to my house

Doesnt have back light so really hard to use in dark. Volume not raised or distinct enough to easily find in the dark with you hand. No voice control.

Couldnt seem to find a replacement remote for my tv until I finally thought--OH LG Was easy to find on the website and worked great straight out of the box with no tinkering with codes. I did need to add 2 AAA batteries. Arrived quickly and was packaged well

Somehow our remote ended up broken in half and we needed a new one. The LG store had this Standard remote available so I purchased it received it and have been using it ever since. There was no need to program it. Point and power on thats it. And it works just like new.
